Requirements:
The systems engineer intern will be part of a team that designs FECs for coherent transceiver. The engineer will be focused on the analysis and implementation of state of the art error correction techniques. The implementation will be based on floating and fixed point simulation platforms
Responsibilities: - Optical communication oriented FEC algorithms design and validation - Design of digital implementation architectures - Software development for simulation of communications systems Qualifications: - Engineer student on Electronics, Computing or Telecommunications - Knowledge on digital communication systems - Good system modeling skills - Good programming skills in C, C++, Python, Verilog - Good written and oral communications skills (Spanish and English)
